Overview
UBC IT Okanagan Voice Services offers several features to meet the needs of departments or groups to enable engagement with the general public, or for internal communications.
Features & Benefits
Voice Services consults with the department or group to recommend a solution to meet their specific needs. The solution may include the following:
- Phones for assigned spaces (e.g., labs or meeting rooms) or for general department use
- Dedicated department phone number
- Group call notifications and answering
- Interactive voice menus and messages
- Voicemail to generic email for department number
- Call recording
- Call centre systems & technology
- Teleconferencing
- Intercom systems and panic buttons
- Conference or meeting rooms systems & technology, in conjunction with Audio Visual
Note: Fax services are no longer offered by UBC IT Okanagan and can be purchased directly from SRFax. Voice services can provide help or advice.
Costs
There may be costs for the solution, depending on which system and features are required, which will be discussed during the consultation.
