Overview

UBC IT Okanagan offers access to a variety of computing facilities and software for instructional and individual student use: 

  • Open computer labs available to all students, faculty and staff  
  • Multi-use instructional labs available to all faculty for instructional purposes 
  • Faculty restricted labs restricted to faculty members

Requirements & Eligibility

  • Open computer labs can be utilized by all active UBC Okanagan students, faculty and staff
  • To determine your eligibility to book multi-use instructional labs, contact Enrolment services for general space and Classroom Scheduling for Academic spaces.
  • Computer lab availability is subject to academic scheduling and are open during regular hours of operation.

Getting Started


Support

  • Online with the UBC SelfService Portal which is the fastest and most efficient way to receive IT support
  • By phone at 250-807-9000 (79000 from on campus) for urgent, time-sensitive support needs

To request that software be updated in particular lab, or new software be installed, please submit a Request Access to IT Service in the UBC Self-Service Portal for a consultation.
