We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Garth Evans August 3, 2026 in Calgary, Alberta after a brief battle with cancer. See below for the October 6 gathering in his memory. Garth joined UBC in January 2012 and over thirteen years built something genuinely remarkable here.
